a Linksys Wireless Router. We strongly recommend that upgrade your linksys
firmware update to latest version. Linksys upgradation will resolve lot of bugs
including dropping of wifi signals. we will guide you step by step guide to
UPGRADE LINKSYS FIRMWARE.
Step 1 :
First You have to know your linksys model number of the router. It is place on
the back of the router. Linksys model number start with EA .. series or WRT..
series.
Step 2: Download Linksys Latest Firmware
Update: Go to www.linksys.com website Go to Support Menu Click
Search The
Model Number of the Linksys Router You have. and it will show many linksys
router model number. Select The model number of the router you have. Click the
Download / Firmware.
Select the
version for the Linksys Router. Click on the Download . and it will save on the
local system.
Step 3: Upgrade the Linksys Wireless Firmware
Login your
linksys router via myrouter.local into your web browser and enter username and
password of the linksys router. The Go
to Adminstration > Firmware Upgrade -> Choose the latest file that you
downloaded above -> Click on Upgrade.
Once
firmware upgrade start do not click any where on the web interface. Wait for
few minutes till it will complete.
Once
upgration will complete. You can check firmware is updated or not.
